Brian is Aviance’s Financial Planner for the Northern and Central Florida regions. He works directly with clients, crafting unique financial plans and guiding investment decisions. As a function of his background and experience, Brian specializes in working with Military Veterans, Special Needs individuals, and Small Business Owners.
Brian graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2008, with majors in Finance & International Business and minors in Accounting & Italian. He started his career working for Merrill Lynch as an Institutional Equity Sales Analyst, then moved to the Research Department as an Associate. In 2011, Brian joined the United States Navy as a Naval Flight Officer. He spent 8 years serving as Tactical Coordinator, Mission Commander, and Weapons Tactics Instructor for the Maritime Patrol & Reconnaissance Force based in Jacksonville, FL and Whidbey Island, WA. In that time he accumulated over 1,200 flight hours and deployed to the Middle East, Central America, and Indo-Pacific areas of operation. Brian earned his Master of Science in Finance from Georgetown University in 2019 and joined Aviance in 2020.
Brian currently lives in Ponte Vedra, FL with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid Villanova basketball and NY Giants football fan as well as an amateur Triathlete. In his spare time he enjoys learning to cook (and eat!) challenging meals, coaching his children’s sports teams, and spending time with friends. Brian is also an active member of his parish church, the Jacksonville Villanova Alumni Network, CFA Society Jacksonville, and Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida.
