Samantha is an Associate Financial Planner for Aviance. She works directly with the lead planners to assist in developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies for clients. She also helps create and edit educational articles for the Aviance WealthPlan Wisdoms section of the website.
Samantha graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a dual Bachelors in Anthropology and Psychology in 2016. She went on to complete her Financial Planning coursework online at Boston University and will be taking the Certified Financial Planner™ exam in March 2022. Prior to her role at Aviance, Samantha worked as a Financial Project Manager and Customer-Owned Asset Manager for six years at a telecommunications company in Deerfield Beach, FL. She also has experience in financial services copywriting, research, and marketing. In 2021, she completed a 120-hour internship with the Financial Planning Association.
Samantha currently lives in Boca Raton, FL with her fiancé, Jake, and their two dogs and two cats. An avid animal lover and environmentalist, Samantha enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, biking, hiking, and kayaking. She also loves to give back to her community in her spare time by volunteering for local nonprofits. Born and raised in South Florida, she looks forward to rooting for the Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat every year.
